Led by our experienced tour guide, this trip to Cong will introduce you to lake Corrib in a way you will never experience it on land. . This tour is an ideal ‘come and try it’ session during which we teach you the basic strokes & safety drills as well guiding you on a picturesque tour. Our aim is to provide an enjoyable, safe and informative introduction to kayaking, and to build confidence afloat. We'll also have time to explore and spot wildlife as we go! For the more experienced group, further islands are waiting to be explored.
Departure point is Lisloughrey Pier, just south of Cong. The kayak is the perfect craft to explore shallow bays & inlets normally out of the reach of lake boats
No previous experience is needed and we tailor our tours to the abilities of paddlers & the prevailing weather conditions.

All prices are per person and include all instruction, equipment and booking fees.
With wetsuits and splash proof gear available for use all you need to bring is a change of clothes that you don't mind getting wet, a towel and old runners and you're ready to go.
We'll kit you out with all the relevant safety gear and you'll be on your way!
Kayakmór supplies kayaks, paddles and kayaking equipment including buoyancy aid, spray deck, splashproof /windproof cagoule & trousers and wetsuits.
Customer should be aware that the paddling venues and tour schedules may change from the tour booked. This could be due to weather and/or logistical factors, the decision is at the discretion of the Kayak Guide. Changes to the customer’s booking will be communicated to them via text in advance of the tour.
Any cancellations must be communicated via email within 4 days before the tour date and a refund minus booking fees will be provided. Late withdraws and ‘No show’s’ will result in the full amount being forfeited.
For groups of 8 or more we require 10 days notice via email
Kayakmor reserve the right to cancel tours at without prior notice for safety reasons this could be due to weather conditions. In this case, customers will be given the option to reschedule or offered a refund.
